Chelsea and a group of her classmates from GT English were selected to present a short informative skit on "Otzi the Iceman" at the National History Day competition in Meridian.
It was cute and creative how they used their research in the script to tell the story of how a 4,000 year old mummy was found buried in the ice in the European Alps.
She can thank Shaelyn for all the home movie projects that contributed to her acting skills.
They did well enough at the competition that their teacher recommended they perform their skit at the NHD contest held at College of Idaho.
Chelsea and her friends had fun and took home a 4th place ribbon and certificate.
They also gave her a $500 grant just for participating!
(If she attends their college in the future of course.)
It was a neat experience for Chelsea and we are proud of her academic skills.
