It's not too hard to get my kids excited about reading, since they already love it! But when the school decides to celebrate Dr. Seuss and reading with some wacky dress-up days, it certainly brings a little more fun into the mix.
Chelsea even wore her "octopus" hair to her primary activity.
The elementary school staff put together a fun "outdoor" place for the kids to come and read, so we attended the Book Fair and went to check it out.
Leah insisted on wearing her "blue-light" blocking glasses because they made her look smarter.
I'm glad my kids love to read.
It's the best way to open the windows of their imagination and let them explore endless worlds with creative possibilities.
