The best part about having a vacation spot in the mountains is inviting friends to join us for some weekend adventures!
The Nielsen's have come up to Cascade with us a few times, but always in the fall when it's too cold to play in the lake. So this time we got to hang out at the beach and let the kids swim.

The kids enjoyed playing some sort of ball tossing game out on the water, or took turns with the raft and the paddle board.
Unfortunately, we had a few injuries before we packed up for the weekend. Jacob stepped into a pot hole and hyperextended his knee, and Leah lost her grip on the swing set and introduced her face to the ground.
Sometimes fun comes with a price, I guess!
