Shaelyn's 16th Birthday

Is this really happening? 

Our oldest daughter just turned sixteen!

We celebrated a little early by camping overnight at Thousand Springs. We probably should have brought candles for the cupcakes, but there was enough smoke from the surrounding wildfires to justify not adding to it.

You got a little frosting on your face there, Shaelyn.

Good thing we brought our paddle board!

Dad had to fly to Wisconsin for military training the next day, so we had Shaelyn's birthday party with her friends on her actual birth DAY.

They had fun decorating cupcakes, singing karaoke, and watching the Wonka movie.
