I never know what to get my dad for Father's Day, because he has everything he needs and buys what he wants. So when John asked for a canvas print from one of my dad's landscape photography collections, the complimentary acknowledgement of his talent and the pleasure of signing his work was the best gift my dad could have asked for.
John's dad never asks for anything, so our best gift to him is quality time. He expressed a desire to visit the temple for the first time in almost 15 years, so we had the pleasure of helping him go through and perform intitiatory and endowment ordinances.
We are grateful for our fathers, and for the values and principles they have taught us throughout our lives.
