Shaelyn was given an incredible opportunity this week! She and a few of her theater classmates were chosen to participate in the Patty Duke's intensive experience at BSU for their performance in the Chaplin musical!
They gathered with other high school students from around the state, stayed in the dorms all week, and spent many hours receiving coaching and instruction from theater experts.
At their final performance night, they were invited to wear formal attire and walk the red carpet like real celebrities.
They sang and danced to choreography they learned throughout the week, and it was inspiring to see all the wonderful talent that Idaho teens have to offer!
I don't know what it is about seeing my kids do amazing things, but when this momma's heart feels so much pride and admiration, I can't hold back the tears.
What an unforgettable experience!
Shaelyn is a very talented young woman, and we are proud of everything she has worked hard to accomplish this year. We can't wait to see what the next chapter has in store!
