Well, mom survived her first official week as a school nurse after finishing her orientation. It was perfect timing right before Thanksgiving break!
I have a whole week to relax and do puzzles!
Dad has been working really hard to stay healthy and exercise this year, so he decided to join the Nielsen's for their "Turkey Trot" 5k run on the morning of Thanksgiving.
But they're not the only things that are "running" around here...
We had a water leak from our upstairs bathroom that ran down into the drywall and caused some damage. So we called the Bartschi boys to save the day with their restoration company, and now we're just waiting for our ceiling and bathroom to get put back together.

The kids voted for ham instead of turkey this year, which was totally fine with mom. We invited Grandma Jody and Grandpa Stephan to bring some favorite side dishes and had a lovely meal together.
Before Thanksgiving break ended, we made sure to get our school and family pictures taken at JcPenny.
We still reward the kids for good behavior by taking them out to lunch afterwards.
It has been a fun and relaxing week for everyone.
