Leah's Baptism

Our last baby has finally turned eight years old and is ready to become a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Our good friend, Leah Southwick, did such a wonderful job taking pictures for her to remember this special event.

She has grown up a lot in the last eight years!

We invited friends and family to join us in supporting her as she makes this first step on the Covenant Path.

Mom gave the talk on baptism, and of course she started crying the minute she got up to speak, so it was kind of embarrassing for Leah. But mom wanted Leah to know how proud she was of her decision to follow Jesus Christ and how much His love can bless her life.

The baptism was short and sweet, and Grandma Jody gave her talk on the Holy Ghost before Leah was confirmed and blessed with this special gift.

It was a special day, and we feel blessed to have so many family members who will be there to support Leah as she continues her walk with Christ on the Covenant Path.

It's crazy how fast eight years have flown by...

I guess I better stop blinking!
